About Us

Chickamauga Veterinary Clinic opened its doors on August 2, 2021. It was founded by Dr. Ryan Rucker and her husband, Daniel. Dr. Rucker graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and saw the need for a veterinary facility in the rapidly growing Chickamauga. CVC was established in the hope of offering the most modern veterinary technologies and quality medicine to clients and patients in the surrounding areas. We specialize in small animal medicine, general wellness, and surgery and offer a wide range of treatment options for your pet’s overall health, recovery, and well-being.

Chickamauga Veterinary Clinic is conveniently located 1.5 miles from downtown Chickamauga and is directly across from Chickamauga City Hall. At CVC, we hope to provide the highest quality medicine at affordable prices while providing a hometown, family-oriented feel. At CVC, you can rest assured that your pet will be in great hands and always treated like family.

In-House Pet Laboratory

Laboratory testing is a valuable diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine. As we continually strive to offer the highest quality medicine, we are proud to include in-house diagnostic laboratory services as a means of providing excellent care to our patients.

Senior Pet Care

Pets age faster than people and can be considered “seniors” at around 7. Just as our health care needs change as we age, your pet’s health care needs may also change. Nutritional needs, exercise habits, and many aspects of your pet’s daily routine can change as your pet ages, so regular wellness visits are just as important for your senior pet so we can keep them comfortable and healthy for longer.
